Israel has never been part of TikTok's creator monetization programs.

Right now, TikTok only pays creators in eight countries, and Israel isn't one of them.

This guide explains why Israel got left out, whether anything might change, and what Israeli creators can actually do about it using only official data from TikTok.

Was Israel eligible for the TikTok Creator Fund?

No, Israel was never included in the TikTok Creator Fund.

The Creator Fund started in August 2020 with just the United States. TikTok put $200 million into the US market initially.

Then in March 2021, TikTok added five European countries: UK, Germany, Italy, France, and Spain. They invested $70 million in Europe at that point.

The Creator Fund doesn't exist anymore. TikTok shut it down completely on December 16, 2023, and replaced it with the Creator Rewards Program.

Is Israel eligible for TikTok Creator Rewards Program in 2025?

No, Israel is not part of the Creator Rewards Program.

TikTok only pays creators in eight countries right now: USA, UK, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, and Mexico.

Mexico joined on October 1, 2024, making it the newest country on the list. The program started as the Creativity Program Beta in May 2023, then became Creator Rewards in March 2024.

Israel doesn't show up anywhere in TikTok's official eligibility lists. If you want detailed strategies on making money in eligible countries, check out our TikTok Bible which covers RPM optimization.

We have made things easy to understand in our TikTok Bible.

Why hasn't Israel been included in TikTok's Creator Rewards monetization program?

TikTok picks big markets first where they can make the most money.

Look at the pattern: they started with the US in 2020, then hit major European markets in 2021. After that came Japan and South Korea in 2024, then Brazil and Mexico.

They're going after the biggest advertising markets where RPM actually works at scale. Israel is a smaller market, so it gets deprioritized.

Payment systems matter too. TikTok needs PayPal or bank transfers set up in each country, plus tax systems that work smoothly for monthly payouts.

But here's the thing: Israel already has this infrastructure working through the Effect Creator Rewards Program. So the technical stuff isn't the real blocker anymore.

What are the chances Israel becomes eligible for TikTok Creator Rewards?

Israel has about a 5-10% chance of getting added in 2026.

That's super low because TikTok only added one country (Mexico) in all of 2024. They're moving slowly on purpose.

There's zero official talk about Israel anywhere in TikTok's announcements or press releases. They're focused on filling out existing regions, not jumping to new ones.

After 2026, the odds go up to maybe 25-35%.

The biggest reason is that Israel is already in the Effect Creator Rewards Program, which launched in March 2024. This means TikTok already set up payments and legal stuff for Israeli creators, making it way easier to add them later.

TikTok keeps saying they'll "introduce it to more regions" in their official docs. But they don't give timelines or commit to specific countries, so it's basically guesswork.

Are there any hints Israel will join TikTok's monetization program?

The best signal is Israel's inclusion in the Effect Creator Rewards Program from March 2024.

This program pays creators up to $14,000 per AR effect and $50,000 monthly for effects used in 100,000 videos. The fact that it works in Israel proves TikTok already solved payments, taxes, and legal stuff there.

But that's literally the only positive signal. We searched every TikTok announcement, press release, and official document from 2023-2025 and found zero mentions of Israel for Creator Rewards.

TikTok's official statements are super vague, stuff like "plans to introduce it to more regions soon." They don't name countries or give timelines.

No government officials or TikTok executives have said anything about Israeli eligibility. The silence is total across all channels.

In our TikTok Bible, we show you how the algorithm works.

Can Israeli creators living abroad join TikTok Creator Rewards Program?

Yes, if you actually live in an eligible country with real residency.

TikTok cares about where you live, not what passport you have. Their requirements say you need to be "based in" an eligible country with your account registered there.

TikTok uses an "Account Region" setting you can see in Settings → Account → Account Information. This determines if you're eligible or not.

They check multiple things: where you registered your account, where you actually live, where your payment account is (must be in your real name), and your tax info. An Israeli living in the US just needs a US PayPal or bank account.

To qualify, you need the standard stuff: 10,000 followers, 100,000 views in 30 days, be 18+, personal account, original videos over 1 minute, and good standing. Our guide covering strategies to get more Rewards on TikTok breaks down exactly how to hit these numbers.

Can I use a VPN to access TikTok Creator Rewards from Israel?

No, this won't work.

TikTok doesn't talk about VPNs in their official docs, but their requirements make it obvious that just changing your IP won't cut it.

You need a real payment account in the eligible country in your legal name. You also need to provide tax info that matches where you actually live.

The requirements say you must be "based in" an eligible country, not just appear to be there. A VPN only fakes your location temporarily, it doesn't give you a PayPal account or tax documents.

Plus, lying about your location breaks TikTok's Terms of Service. If they catch you, you could lose program access or get your whole account penalized.

Can Israeli creators in eligible countries join TikTok monetization program?

Almost definitely yes.

TikTok never mentions citizenship or nationality in their eligibility rules. They only care about where you're "based" and where your account is registered.

You need to meet these requirements: live in an eligible country as a legal resident, have your account registered there, be 18+ (19+ in South Korea), have a personal account, 10,000+ followers, 100,000 views in the last 30 days, post original videos over 1 minute, and keep your account in good standing.

The payment part is simple. You need PayPal, Payoneer, or a bank account in your legal name in that country. An Israeli living in the US just sets up a US PayPal account.

TikTok doesn't say how long you need to live there before qualifying. The Effect Creator Rewards FAQ mentions "your location when you created your TikTok account" matters, but they haven't published this for the main program.

Does having an Israeli TikTok audience affect Creator Rewards eligibility?

Your audience location doesn't affect eligibility at all.

TikTok only cares where you live, not where your viewers are. You could have 100% Israeli audience while living in the US and still qualify.

But here's the catch: your audience location does affect how much money you make. TikTok's official docs say RPM depends on "the region where you're based AND where your video is viewed."

So both locations matter for earnings. A creator in the US with mostly Israeli viewers would earn less than one with mostly US viewers, because advertisers pay different rates for different countries.

TikTok doesn't say how much each location factors into the calculation. They just list it as one of five things that affect RPM, without giving percentages.

Can Israeli TikTok creators monetize with a US audience?

No, audience location can't override where you actually live.

Even if every single one of your viewers is American, you still need to be physically based in an eligible country. Your audience demographics don't matter for eligibility, only for earnings after you're already in.

The requirements are firm: you must live in an eligible country and have your account registered there. Good audience numbers won't bypass this.

If you did move to an eligible country, then having mostly US viewers would help you earn more. TikTok includes "where your video is viewed" as one of the RPM factors.

Think of it this way: TikTok checks where you live first to see if you can join. Then once you're in, they look at where your viewers are to calculate your pay. Our guide on our 50-page document covering everything you need to know about the TikTok Creator Rewards Program explains all the RPM factors in detail.

What's the expected TikTok RPM with an Israeli audience?

TikTok doesn't publish any RPM numbers for any country.

We searched through all their official documentation and found zero specific rates, no CPM data, nothing for Israel or anywhere else.

What TikTok does share is that RPM depends on five things: video performance (watch time, finish rates), search value (traffic from search), location (both yours and your viewers'), video engagement (likes, comments, shares), and advertising value (how much time your viewers spend watching ads on TikTok).

They don't tell you how much each factor matters. No percentages, no weighting, just that these five things affect your pay.

TikTok only shares big-picture numbers like "over 400,000 creators enrolled" and "creators earning $100,000+" total. They also mentioned a "250% increase in creator revenue" within six months, but nothing about individual country rates.

How long until TikTok Creator Rewards eligibility after moving to USA from Israel?

TikTok doesn't specify any waiting period.

Their requirements just say you need to be "based in" and a "legal resident" of an eligible country with your account registered there. No timeline given.

The Effect Creator Rewards FAQ mentions "your location when you created your TikTok account" matters, but they haven't published this specific rule for the main Creator Rewards Program. We don't know if you can change account regions or how long that takes.

Best guess: once you actually move to the US, get legal residency, switch your account to US region, and set up US PayPal, you'd probably qualify right away. You still need the basics like 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in 30 days.

The real work is setting up US payment stuff and getting residency documentation. That's probably the bottleneck, not waiting for some arbitrary time period.

What are alternative TikTok monetization options for Israeli creators?

Effect Creator Rewards is confirmed available in Israel.

You create AR effects and filters in the Effect House tool and earn when effects get used in 100,000 videos within 30 days. You can make up to $14,000 per effect and $50,000 per month total.

TikTok Shop doesn't work in Israel. It only operates in 15 countries: Brazil, France, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, UK, USA, and Vietnam.

For LIVE Gifts, Video Gifts, and Subscriptions, TikTok says these features are "available in select countries" but doesn't publish the list. We can't confirm if Israel is included or not.

TikTok One Creator Marketplace (for brand deals) operates in 26 countries, but again, they don't say which ones. Israeli availability is unknown.

Beyond TikTok's official features, you can always do traditional stuff like brand sponsorships, affiliate marketing, and selling merch. These work anywhere since you're just using TikTok to build an audience and drive traffic. What happens to TikTok Creator Rewards if I move to Israel after approval?

TikTok doesn't publish any policies about this.

If you permanently move from an eligible country to Israel, you'd probably lose eligibility. The requirements say you need to be "based in" an eligible country and be a "legal resident" there, so moving away would break those rules.

Your payment account and tax info would also stop matching your actual location. How fast TikTok would catch this or when they'd kick you out isn't documented anywhere.

For short vacations to Israel, you should be fine. Brief trips don't change where you're actually "based" or your legal residency status.

Your monthly payments on the 15th of each month would keep processing normally during holidays. Your payment account, tax info, and account registration all stay the same when you're just traveling.

TikTok doesn't say if temporary location changes (like different IP addresses) would trigger reviews. The safe bet is keeping your main residency, account registration, and payment stuff in the eligible country even when you travel.
